Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager, Junior Officers role is to carry out the tasks for the smooth running of the Fantasy Store, maintaining the store standards and providing excellent customer service.

1. To always put the customer first and to identify customer needs promptly and accurately.
2. To offer related sales and services in order that the customer is fully aware of the range and the choices available at Fantasy to increase the sale value.
3. To communicate clearly, ensuring customer requests are met by exactly recording details on Special Orders and associated paperwork.
4. Dealing with any queries and follow up calls when required.
5. To ensure all stock is clearly and correctly priced, and check for any expiry items.
6. To clean and tidy sales area to maintain a safe working environment.
7. To respond to customer comments, pass on suggestions and refer complaints immediately to resolve matters without delay.
8. To ensure that all till operation (cash counter), cash handling procedures and transactions are carried out accurately and all orders and paperwork are completed in accordance with Company Policy. 
9. To be prepared to learn about Fantasy products and services. Training will be given but seeking information, developing skills and knowledge must be self-driven.
10. To be aware and attentive and immediately report any security or Health & Safety issues to management. Communicate any work-related issues to other staff and to suggest how the sales floor layout, presentation of goods and product range may be enhanced to maximise sales.
11. To safely lift, pack and move products. Assist with ordering and preparation, counting of stock, both in stockrooms and sales floor where required.
12. To involve in any area that may benefit the team and the customers.
13. Undertake and carry out any other duties/responsibilities upon HODs request.
