Job Description

General Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in relevant field
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in the field of security
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit to endure long working hours
• Ability to operate security related and general office equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures
• Problem solving skills and demonstrate strategic thinking
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

 

Job Specification

• Develop and implement security and transport policies, protocols and procedures
• Monitor security and transport policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security and transport requirements, policies, and directives
• Develop and control budget for security and transport operations and monitor expenses
• Supervise subordinate security professionals and transport staff, performing activities such as hiring, training, assigning work and evaluating performance
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches
• Create reports for management on security status
• Train organization members in security rules and procedures
• Ensure efficiency and quality of security and transport operations
• Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
• Order security and transport related supplies and equipment as needed. Servicing and maintenance of security systems and equipment
• Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies
• Reporting and liaising with engineering department to repair and maintenance of vehicles
• Respond to hospitals emergency codes stated in procedures
• Coordinating Transport related regulatory fees such as, insurance, roadworthiness, airport security permits and vehicle annual fees
• Monitoring and maintaining security and fire safety related equipment such as CCTV, Building Integration System, Fire Monitoring System and Firefighting Equipment
• Conduct periodical safety drills; fire, evacuation, lockdown
• Coordinate security operations for deceased transfer
