Job Description

Senior Accounts Officer (Full Time)

 

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Business/Finance or related field
• Past work experience in the related field for minimum 3 years
• Excellent command in MS Office and QuickBooks
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good command of writing and spoken English
• Must be a Maldivian

 

Job Tasks:

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, and ensuring they are properly authorized.
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures to comply with financial best practices.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Tracking all receivables and keeping them updated.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns. Preparing analysis of accounts and producing monthly reports. Monitor accounting status using management tools.
• Recording and settling invoices in accordance with standard accounting standards and tax practices.
• Contribute to the formulation of the annual budget, including revenue forecast and expenditure requirements.
• Assist with periodic audits of financial transactions and documents.
• Carry out any other relevant work as required by the Management.

 

Remuneration:

• Gross pay MVR 15,000 during probation
• Other Benefits as per Company Policy
