Job Description

Position Type: Permanent (Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 (one) year. The contract shall be renewed as permanent based on performance upon successful completion of one year.)

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Sales/Business or any other relevant field
• Minimum 1 year work experience of Sales, Marketing or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadline
• Pleasant personality

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attending to all customer-related queries in a timely manner and maintaining a good relationship
• Identify customer needs and negotiate with them to propose insurance suitable solutions to the client
• Assess prospective business portfolios and evaluate risks in collaboration with Underwriting and Customer Service
• Visit and engage with customers to understand their requirements, propose tailored solutions
• Participate in promotional activities such as fairs and exhibitions
• Follow up on leads, negotiate insurance terms with clients, and propose suitable solutions in liaison with the Underwriting Team
• Conduct regular reviews of sales performance, generate necessary reports, monthly action plan and provide insights to improve efficiency and meet department goals
• Participate, assist and accomplish Department/Section’s any other work if requested by immediate Supervisor and/or Head of Section and Senior Management
