Job Description

Requirements

  • ACCA or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Preferably in Accounting)
  • 2 – 3 years’ work experience in a related filed
  • Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office advanced level; Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Willingness to learn and then be able to apply.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Major responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and update financial statements.
  • Monitor budget performance and prepare routine financial and variance reports.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
  • Verify weekly and monthly inventory reports.
  • Coordinate shipment receiving, clearance, and stock intake.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Perform inventory audits and investigate discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to reduce losses and damages.
  • Analyze inventory trends and generate improvement reports.
  • Calculate and review shipment costing, including freight and customs charges.
  • Liaise with finance, purchasing, warehouse teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate costing and timely deliveries.
  • Train and supervise staff to ensure compliance with inventory control standards.
  • Perform other task assigned by the manager.
