Job Description
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, requesting quotations, comparing prices, preparing purchase orders, and following up on deliveries.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, price, and delivery terms.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment of goods and materials.
  • Ensure all purchases are made in line with company policies, approved budgets, and operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and procurement reports.
  • Work closely with stores, operations, and finance teams to support smooth business operations.
  • Support import and logistics coordination where required, including shipment tracking and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and relevant Maldives regulations

REQUIREMENTS

      • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
      • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar industry
      • Good knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, price negotiation, and inventory control.
      • Strong understanding of purchasing procedures, documentation, and record-keeping.
      • Familiarity with local and international suppliers and procurement practices is an advantage.
      • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
      • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
      • Experience using purchasing, inventory, or Oodoo systems is an advantage.
      • High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability.
      • Good command of written and spoken English; Dhivehi language skills will be an added advantage.
      • Knowledge of import procedures, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination will be an advantage.
