Job Description

General Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business/Finance
• Minimum 2 years’ background in relevant field
• Cash handling experience is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
• Excellent communication skills & proficiency in English (written & verbal)
• Good interpersonal skills

Job Specification

• Provide cash floats to Cashiers
• Provide cash change for cashiers and ensure all billing counters have adequate cash changes at all times
• Cash closing of counters and ensure that all cash counters are balanced at the point of counter closing
• Reconcile cash with the collection report at the end of each shift and make sure any discrepancies are managed immediately
• Collect the AR bills from cashiers at the time of counter closing
• Prepare daily cash collection / deposits/ credit transactions
• Prepare the cashier excess and shortage reports, and reports to the respective Unit / HODs
• Deposit cash to the bank on daily basis
• Safe keeping of physical cash and maintaining of safe register
• Verify and check the bill cancellation documents and process the bill cancellation in the system
• Verify and check the refund documents and process the refunds in the system
• Preparing the monthly refund report, and bill cancellation reports
• Providing cashier training to cashiers if required
• Any other additional responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time
• Maintain a positive work environment for all Cashiers
