Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wholesale outlet in the GDH.Thinadhoo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, inventory control, staff supervision, and customer relationships to ensure efficient operations and achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Operations:

  • Supervise daily operations of the wholesale outlet, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

  • Maintain stock levels by coordinating with the procurement team and managing inventory effectively.

  • Ensure that all goods are properly labeled, priced, and displayed in accordance with company standards.

• Sales & Customer Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers and local businesses.

  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.

  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

• Staff Supervision:

  • Lead, train, and motivate store staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve operational goals.

  • Schedule and assign tasks to employees, monitor performance, and conduct evaluations.

  • Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.

• Financial Management:

  • Monitor daily sales, prepare reports, and reconcile cash and credit transactions.

  • Minimize shrinkage and wastage through effective stock control practices.

• Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure the store adheres to all legal and company policies, including health and safety regulations.

  • Conduct routine checks and audits on cleanliness, security, and stock handling.
