Job Description

General Requirements

• Minimum Post Graduate Degree in Critical Care Medicine
• Board Certified / Unencumbered License or registration from home country
• Minimum 2 years experience of Intensive Care post Specialization
• Should be well versed with all aspects of Intensive care
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Excellent interpersonal relations, communications, and demeanor
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

 

Job Specification

• Management of a broad spectrum of conditions common among critically ill medical and surgical patients
• Performs and/or supervises technical procedures used in the intensive care setting
• Attend ICU rounds with consulting staff as required and be available to discuss patient treatment plans
• Provide a 24-hour medical service within the hospital on an on-call basis
• Manages ICU patients under the instructions of consultants, or independently, based on privileges granted
• Performs other applicable tasks and duties as assigned by the Head of Department or by Medical Director
