Job Description

 

• Determining the root causes and nature of communication and swallowing disorders
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and speech-language impairments.
• Use standardized tests, observations, and interviews to gather information about the patient’s communication difficulties.
• Develop customized treatment and therapy plans tailored to each individual’s specific needs and goals.
• Develop measurable objectives to track progress.
• Develop strategies and exercises to improve swallowing functions and prevent aspiration.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech sound production and clarity.
• Provide therapy sessions for patients with voice disorders, helping individuals develop a healthy and effective vocal quality.
• Work on expressive and receptive language skills, including vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.
• Assist individuals with fluency disorders such as stuttering
