Job Description

• Attend to dispatch requests from warehouses.
• Physically attend loading and unloading sites to ensure that the loading plan is followed.
• Ensure safety measures are taken during loading and unloading.
• Process collection requests from the various divisions.
• Collect and process trip reports from drivers.
• Ensure all materials received from suppliers meets the specifications in the purchase order
• Label incoming orders with identifying numbers, quantities, and descriptions.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins in predetermined locations.
• Keep the warehouse area neat and organized.
• Maintain accurate records on vehicle use, condition, and maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles are effectively utilized by developing efficient delivery schedules
• Regularly inspect vehicles and equipment to keep them in effective operating condition.
