About Us
AEON Energy Maldives is part of the AEON Energy Group, a UK-based clean energy company dedicated to accelerating the adoption of solar and renewable energy solutions across the Maldives and beyond. We design, install, and manage solar-plus-battery systems for residential, commercial, and island-scale applications.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Technician to join our growing installation and maintenance team. The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge or hands-on experience with solar power systems, electrical installations, or related fields — and must be comfortable communicating in English.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, wiring, and testing of solar PV systems, batteries, and inverters.
• Conduct site preparation, mounting structure assembly, and panel setup.
• Support system troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Follow safety and quality standards during all on-site activities.
• Work closely with AEON engineers and local agents to ensure timely and professional installations.

Requirements

• Basic understanding or prior experience in solar or electrical systems (training will be provided).
• Ability to read and follow installation diagrams and instructions.
• Physically fit and willing to travel between islands for project work.
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.

Preferred (but not mandatory)

• Vocational training or certificate in electrical/renewable energy fields.
• Previous experience working with solar systems or electrical installations.
