Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Journalist/Presenter to join our dynamic team ( Farudhun Media ). The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing news producing high-quality video content, covering news stories, and presenting them in a professional and engaging manner. This role requires a creative storyteller who can work under tight deadlines and has a passion for delivering impactful content.

Key Responsibilities:

1. News Writing and Reporting
2. Presenting and Hosting shows
3. Video Coverage and Reporting : Attend events, press conferences, and on-site locations to capture footage and provide real-time updates.
4. Voice Recording
5. Story Development
6. Shift Duties: Be flexible to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Dhivehi
• Strong writing and Presentation Skills
• Strong passion for journalism and a commitment to storytelling
• Comfortable Conducting interviews and engaging in Public
• Ability to work under tight deadline and in high pressure environments
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Proficiency in news writing (Dhivehi and English) will be considered an added advantage.
• Proven experience in journalism, broadcasting, or a related field will be considered an added advantage
