JOB TITLE: WAITRESS

WORKSITE: GLORIA JEAN’S COFFEES

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Strong communication and multitasking skills are a must. If you love coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

 

RESPONSILITIES

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions about menu items.
• Handle cash or digital payments and give correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and utensils.
• Refill drinks and clear empty dishes as needed.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area for service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Address customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Follow health and safety regulations and store policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and utensils

 

REQUIREMENT

Minimum 2-year experience as a Barista

Able to communicate in fluent English and Dhivehi Language

Able to write/type in proper English and Dhivehi Language
