Job Description

We are looking for energetic, self-motivated and highly competent individual to join our Finance team in FALIM Group.

Position: Accountant

Nationality: Maldivian

Education:

• - Diploma in Accounting or related field (Equivalent Qualification)
• - Good command of English language (both written and spoken).

Other desirables:

• - Competent in use of MS. Office package, especially MS. Excel.
• - Experience in use of QuickBooks.
• - Good organizational, planning and time management skill.
• - Able to maintain clear and accurate financial records.

Experience:

• - Prior experience in use of QuickBooks.
• - Minimum 3 years work experience in a financial background.

Part of the job responsibilities include: -

• - Bookkeeping and data verification.
• - Payroll computation and processing.
• - Tax computation and processing.
• - Revenue verification & payment processing.
• - Fixed Assets maintenance & recording.
• - Review & correct inconsistencies in financial entries.
• - Request E-Banking transactions.
• - Reconciling of collections, General Ledger and bank accounts on daily basis.
• - Assist in Budgeting, Cashflow, Financial & Management Reporting.
• - Annual Audit support.

Salary Range: MVR 10,000 to 12,000
